 Week1 

• We started researching for our new project and created a new label with all the blog post we needed for this project. We also started researching about the companies of our genre and the production companies that would produce it 

• I feel excited but overwhelmed at the same time. I strive to do so much better for this project. 

Week 2 

• We started the genre research and I had trouble managing my time as I want to make each section as detailed as possible but with the shortest amount of time. The wifi was also quite slow which disrupted my workflow but luckily  I also finish my industry research and settled on blum house productions. We also chose our genre which is horror. 

• I only finished one of the large researches and even then I think it still needed more detail. 

Week 3 

• We did mostly theory lessons on media convergence and vertical integration. 

• I slowly started building my genre research before it was submitted. I finish all the two big genre research and 4 small researches that I completed over the weekend. 

Week 4 

• We also did theory lessons on horizontal integration, the multiple theories like hypodermic needle & etc. We finished our statement of intent and distributed the work between the four of us (one person does at least 2 things)

• I FINALLY  finished and finalized  my genre research in which I got no feedback from Mr Nick cause it was very detailed. We also started thinking about the movie intros story 

Week 5

• WE KEEP CHANGING IDEAS >:( and changed some of the sinopsis of the statement of intent and decided on something similar. 

• We started on the storyboard, script and screenplay but haven't quite finished yet. There was also a video about story board which was very much useful and gave me an idea on how I can do my group's storyboard. 

• One of our teammates barely cooperated and he barely started on the script and screenplay thankfully when I did the storyboard process I was able to complete the 4 scenes that are graded and must be very detailed. 

Week 6 

• I started completing the storyboard again and I got feedback that the storyboard doesn't have to be that detailed but the thing is I like to visualize everything as if they are happening like a disney storyboard but to save time I tried to simplify everything as much as possible. 

• Maxine and kenneth switch roles so one of the most important part of the film opening, the screenplay, would be finished in time. 

• I also started editing my blog again after a week of not touching it at all and added the classwork blog from last term, storyboard, risk assessment and screenplay & script, adding bits of information along the way as well as this weekly progress + plan.

Week 7

•  I missed Wednesday's class due to being horribly sick but attended the project lesson on Tuesday and Friday. 

• I finally finished everything that's asked of me and my team with the classwork being the most TIME CONSUMING OH MY GOODNESS THAT WAS TOO MUCH FOR ME who's trying to budget their time but ended up spending 2 HOURS ON THE CLASSWORK.

Self Reflection: Currently, this project was challenging but rewarding at the same time. I usually struggle with time management (like all students) and sometimes feel overwhelmed by the SHEER amount of the workload. However, I try to learned the importance of prioritizing and working efficiently so I can STILL meet the deadline and get good grades on other subjects as well as contributing to the media team. Hopefully, next time I can do better and not stress about the work to much so the experience could be more enjoyable. 

This is my next semester of school I will start at week 1 

Week 1

• We had a shooting practice / scene recreation from a movie that has the same genre like the movie opening and luckily I finished the blog post in time. I think I'm getting faster at completing classwork given by the media teacher. 

• We also learned about new media that is media that uses the internet and technological convergence when two medias are combine into one multifunctioning media. 

Week 2

• We did editing practice so when we get to that part next week it will run smoothly and hopefully faster for our editor kenneth. 

• We also learned about multiple theories such as cultivation (where people see media that reinforced their ideology), social learning (where people imitate behaviors shown in media) and desensitization theory and representation theory.
